In his role, he works with the editorial, video, and digital teams to maximize performance, reach, and engagement. He also leads its community engagement efforts, particularly through the Inquirer Volunteers initiative, which trains campus journalists and media students to cover key national and local news events in the Philippines.
A seasoned media professional with a diverse background in broadcast and digital marketing, he also leads Inquirer.net’s innovation efforts in generative AI and its potential content and commercial applications, having completed accelerator programs with the Google News Initiative, WAN-IFRA, and OpenAI. Recently, he has also served as the coordinator for SEA vs. Plastics, a cross-border journalism project involving multimedia newsrooms from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore.
