He has trained journalists and newsrooms across Thailand and Southeast Asia in digital tools, digital safety and verification since 2019. He has more than 10 years of experience in technology, business, and lifestyle news.

      The first part of this half-day workshop will offer a hands-on introduction to some of the most powerful AI-driven research tools available to journalists today — including Gemini, Pinpoint, and NotebookLM — exploring how they can help reporters unlock hidden stories, interrogate large document collections, and work more efficiently without compromising editorial standards.

      The second part shifts focus to the newsroom level, equipping editors and managers with the knowledge and frameworks needed to avoid the pitfalls of Shadow AI - the unsanctioned, uncoordinated use of AI tools that can expose newsrooms to significant editorial and reputational risk without significantly increasing efficiencies - and to harness AI models and agents strategically to rebuild and future-proof their workflows.
