Louise Scrivens is Ecosystem Development Manager for Syli, where she builds strategic partnerships and collaborative inititiatives to advance its mission-driven journalism initiatives with a focus on climate storytelling.
A former journalist and editor with over two decades of experience working in international newsrooms—including BBC News Online in London, Bloomberg News in New York and Australian Associated Press in Sydney—she has extensive experience producing news, digital storytelling and shaping complex information into clear narratives.
Prior to joining Syli, Louise worked as an editor and trainer with international news organisation Global Press where she led a global editorial coaching team focused on editing and shaping the work of women reporters, from Mexico to Mongolia, covering civil liberties, the environment and health from their local communities. She delivered media training and strengthened public engagement through clear, impactful storytelling, while building successful media partnerships to expand the reach and impact of their work.
