      Diversity in news is not about producing more extensive annual special editions on the occasion of the International Women's Day or the Gay Pride, It involves putting in place policies, processes, commitments and resources to ensure that newsrooms and the content they produce offer, every day, a fair and inclusive representation of the communities they cover. In this session, news executives from progressive media outlets will explain the concrete steps they have taken in their respective newsrooms for producing more empathic and inclusive journalism, and why it is important for them to do so.
