    Senior Program Manager, GMA Public Affairs

    Sherilyn Bruan serves as Senior Program Manager at GMA Public Affairs, where she oversees the production of magazine, documentary, drama, and special programs. With 25 years of experience in the broadcast industry, Bruan’s leadership has garnered international recognition for several programs.
    One such program is the documentary special “Young Arms” from The Atom Araullo Specials. This episode examined the child laborers. in the Philippines at the height of the pandemic and received a Gold medal at the 2022 New York Film Festivals, a Silver medal at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, and the title of Best Asian Documentary at the 2022 Asia Contents Awards.
    Another episode of The Atom Araullo Specials, titled “Child’s Game” and produced under Bruan’s leadership, the lives of children in conflict with the law in the Philippines. This recently earned a Gold Medal at the 2024 New York Film Festivals.
