    Douglas Schorzman is based in The New York Times newsroom in Seoul, leading the team of editors and correspondents who cover all of Asia and Oceania. Over more than 20 years at The Times, he has helped lead the paper’s conflict-zone coverage, and served as Deputy Asia Editor in Hong Kong and Deputy International Editor in New York before moving to South Korea in 2023.
