Connie Tan

Connie Tan is the Supervising Producer of CNBC’s flagship morning program ‘Squawk Box Asia’,
a show that sets our viewers up for the trading day as Asian markets come online, featuring major
economic, corporate and earnings news and “live” interviews with CEOs, top asset managers and
newsmakers.
Connie has been part of the CNBC Asia team since joining the company at the height of the Global
Financial Crisis in 2008 and has worked in several programs across the channel including Street
Signs, Capital Connection and the features desk.
A 25-year news veteran, Connie has extensive experience as a field producer, covering general
elections, leaders’ summits, demonstrations, global conferences and industry events. Prior to
joining CNBC, she worked as a TV producer at Singapore’s Channel NewsAsia and Malaysia’s TV3,
plus brief stints in the print media and public relations in Malaysia and Indonesia.
