Peter Juno is the Senior Vice President of International Technical Operations for CNBC International, the world’s leading business & financial news network, owned by NBCUniversal, under the Comcast group. Appointed to the role in November 2010, he oversees CNBC International operations and engineering requirements across Asia Pacific (APAC) and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), based in Singapore. As Senior Vice President, Juno is responsible for the overall strategic planning, development and implementation of operational new technologies including IT, network infrastructure and security. In addition, he coordinates the operational requirements between CNBC International and its domestic network in the United States. Juno has extensive operations experience in the broadcast industry. Prior to his current role, Juno led the APAC operations for 17 years and was appointed Senior Vice President of Operations for CNBC International, APAC in 2004. He joined Asia Business News (ABN), CNBC Asia’s predecessor, in 1993, and has been with the network through the merger with CNBC. Before ABN and CNBC, he was with TVNZ/Avalon Studios in New Zealand in various production and technical roles.
