    Adam Najberg is the Head of Communications for Tencent Games. Prior to that, he was the Global Head of Content and the Head of International Media Relations for Alibaba Inc. Before crossing over the public relations industry, Adam was an outstanding award-winning journalist for over 20 years, including stints at the Wall Street Journal as a senior editor as well as many other prominent news outlet. Adam is also a documentarian, career coach and mentor to many entrepreneurs and fresh graduates. He ia the author of Jumpstarting Your Career,” a guide that offers tips and hacks to crack the job-search code. He is based in Singapore.

      The relationship between reporters and PR is often seen as fraught with suspicion, deceit, and bad faith. More often than not, reporters take whatever the PR says with a huge grain of salt and PRs pin reporters as an intentional attacker. Yet, both roles share a symbiotic relationship as they need each other to get the story out. Moderated and paneled by three veteran journalists who have jumped over to the other side of the fence and a career spokesperson for the government, the session will deconstruct what PR does, explain how reporters can get the most out of their PR counterparts and the do’s and dont’s when trying to get answers from PR people.
