Ashwad was the youngest member of the pioneering team of the channel back in 2007 and has held multiple roles as a journalist and presenter. Under Ashwad’s charge, Astro AWANI has been ranked as the most trusted news source in Malaysia by The Reuters Institute Digital News Report since 2018.
