  • The global war of misinformation has emerged as the next political battleground. From China's portrayal of the Russian invasion of Ukraine as a "legitimate security concern" to a mass social media push during the Philippine Election to white wash the terror of the Marcos era as a "golden age", these government narratives are making in roads and shaping how their citizens vote and view the world. This panel takes a deep dive at how governments propagate misinformation and how journalists can navigate this challenging environment and fight back.
