AAJA-Asia Launches 2019 Fellowships for N3Con Attendees (UPDATE: deadline extended!)
As part of AAJA-Asia’s mission to help launch the careers of its members, we are excited to announce our N3Con fellowships and travel support — a total of ten awards, the most we’ve ever given.
Now in its ninth year, the N3 New.Now.Next Media Conference is one of Asia’s premier gathering of journalists and media professionals, offering in-depth conversations that shape the future of journalism, hands-on training and exclusive networking opportunities with top reporters and editors. Join AAJA-Asia May 30–June 2 in Hong Kong for one of Asia’s biggest media conferences—the one and only of its kind!
The stipends available include:
- AAJA N3 Fellowship Awards for SIX Asia chapter members
- AAJA N3 Fellowship Award for ONE US chapter member
- N3Con Columbia Journalism School Student Fellowship, sponsored by Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism
AAJA N3 Fellowship Awards
We are offering SIX $350 fellowships to any Asia chapter member in the region to attend the 9th annual N3Con and ONE $500 stipend for a US-based AAJA member flying to Asia to attend.
Asia chapter members in emerging market countries are especially encouraged to apply.
This is part of AAJA-Asia’s support for members intended to help defray travel and lodging costs. Basic N3 conference registration is also included.
Applicants must be current AAJA members. To join AAJA or renew your membership, please click here.
