    Yoohee set up a Silicon Valley branch office in 2018. She has covered stories on business and technology from startups and major IT companies since then. She produces video content as well. She recently covered Zoom’s founder and CEO Eric Yang, an organizing consultant Marie Kondo, and Alex Kryevevsky, who built the current AI era. Before working with NewsPicks, she worked for TV Tokyo as a producer and a reporter.  Yoohee studied at Stanford University as a JSK fellow from 2016-2017.

      Launched in 2013, Newspicks aggregates global content on business and tech for its Japanese audience. Newspicks has more than 4 million subscribers who have downloaded the app and can access and comment on curated content for free, supported by advertising, while 110,000 subscribers pay for a more exclusive experience. In this exclusive chat, Naoyoshi Goto, co-founding editor of Newspicks, will explain the newsroom's unique philosophy and how they constantly develop new formats – including video streaming, graphic storytelling and weekly in-house talk shows – in order to keep their millenials audience engaged.
