Tiffanie Leung is a reporter at Stand News in Hong Kong. While she was still a college student, Tiffanies had been reporting freelance at the forefront of the Hong Kong protests in 2019, before joining the crowdfunded independent news outlet full time. Apart from taking on live coverage at Stand News, she wrote feature stories about young protesters at the crossroads of prison time and education. Tiffanie also won Best Explanatory Chinese Feature Writing at the 24th Human Rights Press Awards (2020) with the feature series “Revisiting 612: what happened?,” for which she has a co-byline.
