Doris Dumlao-Abadilla is a Writing Editor for the Philippine Daily Inquirer (PDI), a leading multi-media organization in the Philippines. She has been a business journalist for two decades and has received 21 journalism awards, including those from the Economic Journalists Association of the Philippines (EJAP), Jaime V. Ongpin Investigative Journalism Awards, Citibank Journalism Awards and Sun Life Sinag Financial Literacy award.
She was also named as a Young Global Leader (Class of 2014) by the World Economic Forum and an Asia21 Young Leader (Class of 2011) by Asia Society. She was honored as one of The Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) in the Philippines (Class of 2014). In 2011, she landed on Google’s list of 20 “Most Influential” women in the Philippines (ranked 12th), based on Google searches.
